🍺
Alcohol on the Beach
Open containers of alcohol are allowed on Treasure Island beaches — it's one of the perks locals love. Glass containers are prohibited. Keep it in a can, cup or koozie and enjoy responsibly.
🚿
Facilities
Restrooms and outdoor showers are available at the main beach access points. The shower rinse is a must after a full day in the Gulf — salt and sand do not mix well with car seats.
🐕
Dogs on the Beach
Dogs are welcome on Treasure Island beaches before 9am and after 5pm during season. Must be on a leash at all times. Always clean up after your pup — keep our beach beautiful.
🏄
No Lifeguards on Duty
Treasure Island beaches do not have lifeguards or beach flags. Swim at your own risk and use good judgment. Check the weather page for current Gulf conditions before heading in.
🐢
Sea Turtle Nesting
May through October is sea turtle nesting season. No white lights on the beach after dark — use red lights only. Never disturb a nest or a nesting turtle. If you find a nest, call the FWC Wildlife Alert Hotline.
